Brady C. Jackson — Founder and Principal Consultant
With nearly 20 years of experience working and consulting in space and tech startups, Brady brings a singular blend of engineering and psychology expertise to Cosmic Dawn. Brady earned his B.S. of Aerospace Engineering from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, after which he worked as an engineer in both the commercial and defense sectors. Brady worked at SpaceX for nearly nine years where he supported the development of Falcon 9, Dragon, and Falcon Heavy as both an engineer and manager of Trajectory Analysis.
Shortly thereafter, Brady worked with a variety of Los Angeles based startups as a consultant, where he recognized a recurring pattern: Many startups aimed to replicate the culture of engineering excellence which allowed SpaceX to succeed, but they also struggled to adapt key elements of that culture to their unique context. Brady, therefore, began his study of organizational psychology at Claremont Graduate University in 2024 with a focus on the positive psychology of employee excellence.

Brady’s particular blend of engineering and psychology expertise led him to develop Cosmic Dawn’s signature style which defines all of its activities: People First Principles.
All services provided by Cosmic Dawn are rooted in the first principles, or fundamental dynamics of how people feel, think, and behave. By fusing hard, empirical evidence backed psychology with experience-based applications, Cosmic Dawn is able to educate companies and employees on what drives people to not only do their best work, but also to collectively create cultures which entice people to come to work with excitement and vigor.
